Fire-Resistant Glass Classification & Selection
In line with the national standard GB 15763.1, fire-resistant glass falls into two core categories:
Class A (Insulated Fire Glass): Satisfies both fire integrity and thermal insulation requirements. It effectively blocks flame spread and restricts the surface temperature rise on the non-fire side to a maximum of 140°C, providing comprehensive fire and heat barrier performance.
Class C (Non-Insulated Fire Glass): Only meets fire integrity standards to stop flame penetration, with no thermal insulation function.
