The shutter features a unique dual-track structure with two parallel rolling shafts driven by a single hoist motor. This synchronized mechanism ensures smooth, balanced lifting and lowering of two separate curtains. Between the two layers lies an insulating air gap that significantly retards heat transfer. Each curtain is composed of a base layer of aluminum silicate fiber cloth coated with a fire-resistant gel, reinforced with an external heat-radiation shield. Internally, aluminum silicate fiber blankets provide superior thermal insulation. This multi-layered design enables the shutter to withstand intense fire exposure for over four hours-exceeding the standard three-hour requirement. During rigorous testing, the average temperature rise on the non-fire side (back face) remains below 55.6°C, with the single-point maximum rise under 63.6°C. Consequently, this shutter is certified to replace a firewall and requires no water curtain cooling system, dramatically simplifying installation and reducing civil engineering costs.
