Explosion Relief Door

An explosion relief door, also referred to as an explosion venting door, is a professional safety device built to safeguard industrial facilities, production equipment and on-site personnel from severe damage caused by accidental gas and dust deflagrations. Unlike blast-resistant doors that work to contain explosion pressure, this relief door releases excess internal pressure instantly once the preset pressure threshold is hit. This fast venting effect quickly brings the internal peak overpressure down to safe levels, effectively avoiding structural collapse, equipment failure and personal injuries caused by explosions.

The door adopts a robust steel frame structure, fitted with multi-point locking components and pressure-resistant hinges, which adapts to long-term, repeated use in harsh industrial environments. The door core is filled with non-combustible Class A rock wool insulation material, achieving 1-hour fire integrity resistance and a thermal transmittance coefficient K ≤ 1.5 W/(m²·K). The door surface is treated with corrosion-resistant fluorocarbon coating or electrostatic powder coating. Standard color options include RAL7035 light gray and RAL9006 silver gray, with custom color services available on request.
