Products Description
Ⅰ.Outer fire-retardant layer: High silica fabric / ceramic fiber fabric. It resists open flame and high-temperature radiation, withstands direct flame impingement, and features high-temperature resistance and non-combustibility.
Ⅱ.Middle heat insulation buffer layer: Inorganic fiber thermal insulation felt (ceramic fiber felt / glass fiber wool). Serving as the core heat insulation layer, it blocks conductive and radiant heat and greatly reduces heat transfer to the non-fire side.
Ⅲ.Inner protective layer: Glass fiber fabric. It protects the internal insulation felt from fiber shedding and improves the tear resistance of the curtain.
Ⅳ.Airtight smoke barrier layer: Aluminum foil composite layer. It blocks high-temperature flue gas radiation, reduces penetration by thermal convection, and enhances smoke sealing performance.
Auxiliary components: Roller shaft, guide rails, lintel, bottom beam, thermal release device, motor, control box, and two-stage drop linkage control system.
●Guide rails: Made of thickened galvanized steel plate, fitted with sealing wool strips / fire-resistant sealing strips to prevent fire and smoke from leaking through gaps on both sides of the curtain and maintain fire integrity.
●Bottom beam: Weighted steel structure. It ensures the curtain descends vertically, seals tightly against the floor, and closes the bottom gap.
●Thermal release device: Fuses at 73°C. In case of power failure, the curtain descends by self-weight to guarantee reliable closure during a fire.
Two Key Performance Indicators
Under standard fire resistance test conditions, the requirements shall be met within the specified time:
No penetrating cracks or holes on the curtain fabric; no sustained flame combustion on the non-fire side of the specimen.
No flame or high-temperature air flow at curtain gaps that can ignite cotton pads.
No flame leakage from guide rails, lintels and joints.
Fire integrity and fire compartmentation shall be deemed failed once flame penetration or ignition of cotton pads occurs.
Fire Resistance Insulation (Core Feature of Super Grade Curtain)
During the test, the average temperature rise and maximum single-point temperature rise on the non-fire side shall be monitored:
●Average temperature rise on the non-fire side ≤ 140℃
●Maximum temperature rise at any single point on the non-fire side ≤ 180℃
In case of fire, high-temperature radiant and conductive heat is blocked by multi-layer inorganic materials. The temperature on the non-fire side remains under control, protecting personnel and equipment inside the fire compartment and preventing combustibles within the compartment from being ignited by high temperature.
