Inorganic Fabric Fire Resistant Rolling Shutter

The product adopts a flexible structure with double tracks, double curtains and multi-layer composite inorganic fibers. It satisfies both fire resistance integrity (E) and thermal insulation (I) without auxiliary fire water curtains, with a fire resistance duration of 3.0 hours or above. Compared with steel fire rolling shutters, it features light self-weight, suitability for large spans, low structural load, silent operation, moisture and corrosion resistance, and no requirement for supporting water curtains. It is widely used in large-opening fire compartments where solid fire walls cannot be constructed, such as commercial atriums, underground parking lots, large factories, exhibition centers and mechanical & electrical interlayers.

An inorganic fire rolling shutter is a complete fire separation assembly with non-combustible inorganic fiber as the main curtain material. It consists of reel, double guide rails, curtain body, bottom beam, fire shutter motor, dedicated controller, temperature-controlled fusing release device and sealing components. In case of fire, it descends automatically to block openings and stop flames and high-temperature smoke from spreading across fire compartments.

Double-track double-curtain premium inorganic fabric fire rolling shutters are the mainstream in the industry, classified as Class A insulated fire rolling shutters. Single-track single-curtain types only meet integrity requirements and fail to achieve premium thermal insulation standards, hence they are mostly restricted as main separators of fire compartments under current fire acceptance codes.
