Normally Open Fire Door Closing Methods
Linked Closing: The automatic fire alarm system triggers two independent fire detectors in the same fire compartment, or one detector plus a manual alarm button, to automatically close the door.
Remote Manual Closing: The fire control room remotely controls the door manually via a bus control panel.
Monitor Manual Closing: The door is closed by sending a command via the "Manual Close" button on the on-site fire door monitor panel.
On-site Manual Closing: The door is directly closed by operating the manual release button or emergency lever on the door.
Normal Closed Fire Door Closing Methods
Automatic Reset: Normally kept closed, the door automatically returns to the closed position after personnel pass through. Some models have a temperature-controlled release function.
