Annual Comprehensive Inspection

1. Actual Test of Passive Thermal Release Device

Cut off the main power supply, heat the 73℃ fusible element with a hot air gun, and verify that the shutter fully descends smoothly under its own weight within 60 seconds without jamming. Replace the entire release mechanism immediately if the test fails.

2. Full-Stroke Durability Test of Complete Unit

Run full up-and-down cycles for no less than 5 times. Check the synchronization of double-layer curtain surfaces for no deviation or abrasion damage. The qualified descending speed ranges from 7 m/min to 9.5 m/min.

3. Fire-Resistant Layer Inspection of Curtain Surface

Unseam the edge wrapping of the curtain surface, inspect the internal aluminum silicate thermal insulation cotton and aluminum foil reflective layer for dampness, pulverization or missing sections. Special attention shall be paid to water seepage and soaking issues for damp underground parking lots.

4. Smoke Tightness Test

After the shutter is fully closed, use a 0.1 mm feeler gauge to measure gaps between the bottom bar and ground, as well as between curtain surface and guide rails. The test passes if the gauge cannot be inserted. Replace sealing strips or adjust guide rails if gaps exceed standard limits.

1. Appearance and Curtain Surface Inspection

Check the inorganic fabric for scratches and tears. Inspect both sides of the curtain for detachment and deformation to prevent derailment during fire emergencies. Check if the bottom sealing rubber strip is hardened or fallen off.

2. Guide Rail Cleaning

Clear dust, sand, plastic bags and other debris inside the guide rails; wipe the fire intumescent strips on the guide rails to ensure tight fitting of the curtain and zero smoke leakage.

3. Local Control Function Test

Operate the UP / STOP / DOWN buttons on both sides, and observe the whole running process: no jamming, deviation or abnormal noise, and no pulling damage to the curtain. The shutter shall automatically rise when encountering foreign objects during descending, with fully functional anti-pinch protection.

4. Thermal Release Device Inspection

Check that the 73℃ fusible link inside the cabinet is free of deformation, corrosion and fracture. Painting or taping over the fusible link is strictly prohibited; unauthorized removal is not allowed.

5. Cabinet, Motor and Chain Visual Check

No damage or exposed rock wool on the cabinet; the manual pull chain is intact without breakage, and the metal chain is rust-free; no water accumulation or oil stains on the motor housing.

6. Warning Signs

The "No Stacking" sign under the rolling shutter shall be intact. No shelves, vehicles or sundries shall block the shutter's descending path.
