Steel Fire Rolling Shutter Structural System Description
1. Main Curtain Assembly (Core Fire & Heat Insulation)
Made of slats, weighted bottom beams and wind-resistant hooks. Slats are interlocked 0.8–1.2 mm galvanized steel sheets for high rigidity. Class A slats filled with fireproof rock wool block fire and heat. The thick channel steel bottom beam with sealing strips cuts off smoke when closed. Side wind-resistant hooks fit into rails to avoid slat bulging, shaking and derailment under fire wind pressure.
2. Guide & Sealing System (Smoke-Tight Core)
Composed of thick channel steel rails (wall thickness ≥3.0 mm) and embedded floor troughs. Full-length fire intumescent strips seal gaps in fire. Each slat inserts ≥60 mm into rails for stability. Exclusive floor trough clamps the bottom beam against prying and wind uplift, boosting overall smoke tightness.
3. Drive Unit (Automatic Fire Descent)
Includes fire-rated motor and standard 73℃ thermal release device for fire code compliance. The 380V motor with electromagnetic brake and manual chain works when power fails. The passive thermal device melts at 73℃ to release the brake; the shutter falls by gravity to seal openings without electricity.
4. Fire Linkage Control System (Intelligent Control)
The control box with backup batteries runs through power outages, with local UP/STOP/DOWN buttons on both sides. It connects to smoke/heat detectors, alarms and signal modules, linking to the fire control panel. Real-time signals of full open, mid-position, full close and faults are transmitted to meet fire acceptance standards.
