Core Product Configuration: Grade B Wooden Fire Door for Office Corridors
Door Leaf: Grade B wooden fire door, flame-retardant solid wood frame + non-combustible fireproof core board, leaf thickness meets Grade B requirements. Surface options: fire-resistant veneer, flame-retardant melamine panel or fire-retardant paint. All wooden components are fully impregnated for flame resistance (not merely surface painting), with relevant data in type test report.
Door Frame: Fully impregnated flame-retardant wooden frame. Cross-section & wall thickness comply with test report. Pre-drilled for expansion bolts. Gap between frame and wall filled with non-combustible fire stopping material; foam only is prohibited.
Hardware (Mandatory & Key for Acceptance): Standard with fire door closers and fire hinges. Double-leaf doors equipped with sequence closers. No anti-theft locks. Fire exit locks adopted for evacuation: inward side opens without keys in fire. All hardware is fire-rated with test documents; ordinary door hardware is not allowed.
Marking & Nameplate: Permanent metal nameplate on door leaf, stating manufacturer, fire rating, size and GB12955-2024. "Keep Closed" sign attached.
Fire Seal: Continuous intumescent fire seal in frame groove, unbroken at corners, expands under heat to seal gaps for smoke & fire resistance.
Technical Points for Supply
1. Opening Verification
Accurately recheck the sizes of civil openings before delivery. Clearly distinguish opening dimension, outer frame dimension and clear passage width of door leaf to guarantee the evacuation width of office corridors complies with fire codes. Avoid undersized civil openings. On-site cutting of door frames is prohibited, as it will damage fire-resistant structures and lead to acceptance risks.
2. Door Leaf Selection
Single-leaf Grade B wooden fire doors for narrow corridors. Double-leaf Grade B wooden fire doors shall be adopted for main evacuation passages and lobby antechambers, fitted with sequence closers to ensure standardized closing sequence and tight sealing.
3. Finished Product Protection
Considering overlapping construction in office projects, door leaves are fully covered with protective film before leaving factory. After arrival, store products flat in dry and ventilated areas against moisture. Water immersion and direct sunlight are forbidden to prevent warping and deformation. Conduct special technical briefing to the general contractor prior to construction.
4. Supply Scope Description
Two supply options available: supply only (door frames, door leaves and complete set of fire hardware), or supply plus technical installation guidance. Excluded works: wall fire stopping, civil engineering repairs and fire linkage modules. Most corridor fire doors in office buildings are normally closed and require no electromagnetic release linkage devices.
