Smoke baffles are available in flexible inorganic fabric, fire-resistant glass and rigid steel plate. The curtain adopts Class A non-combustible silicone-titanium fiberglass cloth with high temperature resistance and low smoke leakage, achieving 30min fire integrity. Tight seams prevent smoke penetration. Normally retracted inside ceiling, it suits large commercial spaces and underground areas without affecting decoration, access or maintenance.

Smoke detector linkage is its core function. Per GB50116, two independent smoke detectors in the same smoke compartment send an AND signal to the control box. The motor lowers the baffle steadily to the designed smoke blocking depth (min. 500mm) and feeds back status to the fire alarm panel. It also supports remote manual control, local button operation and emergency gravity drop upon power failure.

Driving and control systems comply with XF533. Special fire motor and limit devices ensure smooth lowering. Reinforced tracks, rollers and bottom beams reduce shaking and deformation for long-span units. Flame-retardant wiring and marked terminals facilitate commissioning.

Common acceptance pitfalls: the smoke blocking depth shall match smoke exhaust design; linkage shall not be triggered by a single detector. All components shall share consistent certifications. Bracket load, ceiling opening and edge sealing shall follow drawings to block side smoke leakage.
