Fire Linked Three-Item Test for Fire Sliding Windows (Mandatory for Normally Open Sliding Windows)

15bad031bdc2b976d3cbc27b356e161a

1.Detector Alarm Triggering: Simulate alarm of smoke and heat detectors on the same side; window sashes shall close automatically with signals transmitted to the fire control room.

2.Remote Control via Fire Control Room: The main control unit sends a closing command; window sashes act synchronously and feed back their status.

3.On-Site Manual Release: Activate the manual release device; window sashes close smoothly without jamming or rebound.

1.Temperature-controlled Self-closing Test Artificially heat the 68°C thermal sensing element. The sash shall fully close and multi-point lock bolts engage within ≤60 seconds; no visible through gaps shall remain after closure.

2.Fire Linkage Test The fire control room remotely transmits an alarm signal, the sliding window closes automatically and feeds back a status signal to the main control panel; the on-site manual release device functions normally during testing.

3.Simple Air Tightness Inspection A 6mm test probe cannot penetrate the gaps between window frame and sash after full closure, simulating zero penetration of fire smoke.

Periodic Debugging & Maintenance Test for Fire Sliding Windows

Quarterly Special Commissioning (Once every 3 months, in-depth inspection by qualified institution)

1.Inspection of Self-closing Spring Mechanism Fully open the window sash to maximum opening position and check for uniform spring tension. Replace the entire self-closing assembly immediately if the spring is loose, weak or fractured; do not stretch the spring for forced operation.

2.Inspection of Thermal Release Device Visually inspect the fusible link for no aging, discoloration or corrosion. Do not bend, heat or coat the fusible piece with paint without authorization.

3.Inspection of Fire Linkage Wiring (For Normally Open Fire Sliding Windows) Check that conduits for DC24V control cables are intact without abrasion, water immersion or extrusion; wiring terminals shall be free of looseness and oxidation. Signal feedback test: After manual release, the fire control main panel shall receive the closing feedback signal of the window sash normally.

Annual Comprehensive Inspection & Maintenance (At least once a year, mandatory item for fire acceptance inspection)

1.Thermal Release Test Heat the 68℃ fusible link at low temperature with a hot air gun and record the time: the window sash shall fully close and self-lock within 60 seconds. Brand-new fusible components must be replaced after the test; melted and failed old parts shall not be reused.

2.Full Fire Linkage Process Test Link smoke detectors and perform remote on/off operation via the fire control room to verify intact closing movement and status feedback functions. Repair the linkage controller and actuator immediately if any faults occur.

3.Air Tightness Inspection Close and fully lock the window, then inspect the entire perimeter with a 6mm test probe to ensure no through gaps exist.

Acceptance Qualification Criteria

1.Complete set of documents available; qualifications match the model of on-site physical products.

2.Profiles, glass, hardware, sealing materials and blocking treatments all comply with relevant codes and standards.

3.Temperature-controlled self-closing and fire linkage functions pass all tests; full closing completed within 60 seconds with normal signal feedback.

4.Dimensional tolerances, sealing gaps and fixing installation meet specification requirements.

5.No structural defects impairing fire resistance; blocking layers contain no voids and no direct passages for smoke and flame penetration.
